March Madness

For the month of March, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter were my best friends. Last month, I really enjoyed Netflix, but this month I didn’t find any shows or movies that sparked my interest. There’s always something new to watch on YouTube and memes to be retweeted on Twitter.
I’ve learned that I don’t know how to put my phone down. When I wake up in the morning, I immediately grab my phone and scroll through Twitter. I’m not sure if it’s a matter of always wanting to be in the know or just needing my daily fix. Twitter is that friend that knows everyone’s business and tells you even if you didn’t ask. Well now that I think of it, I guess people do that on Instagram as well.
Instagram is great for when you want to have a skewed perception of beauty. But it’s so interesting that I can’t let it go. I’ve found cute hairstyles on the application and even outfit choices. It’s influenced me to get my eyebrows tattooed and buy new shoes. It’s fun to watch the lives of other people through pictures. People I’ve met on Instagram have inspired me to follow my hobbies and do what I want to do. Now I have gotten into modeling and created my own YouTube channel.
YouTube videos never get old. There’s always new content being uploaded every minute of the day. I keep my notifications on for my favorite YouTubers so I know whenever they post a new video. I have a modeling performance later this month so my YouTube history is full of runway walking videos. In my head, Summer is around the corner so I’ve been watching swimsuit hauls. Many YouTubers have vlogs in foreign countries on the beach, and this summer I plan to do the same. I spend hours a day watching pointless videos on YouTube.
